fortress top wiremesh by Sanberg fortress top wiremesh by Sanberg
righty-oh, another wire thing render of the fortress scene, this one is from the top, so you can get a feel of the lay out. also, i'm still wishing there was a way to add multiple pictures to a single "deviation" since it's hard to show off 3D models with 1 picture >.>

clickey download to see the 1280x1280 version, for a better look.

Thank you kindly, just wish I could texture the thing, but lack of skill and time get in the way.

yup, those are trees, there's a park in the arch behind the main citadel as well, but it's a 'lil obscured in this shot.

Nice work. I agree to tonka's point - long directional shadows cast from sun would give image a lot more depth :)

HAHAAa.. your a mad man.. :D
you absolutely have to light this thing in some form of day light.. maybe a soft orange light from the sun setting behind the moon that's off camera?

thanks . and now that you mention some lighting from a setting sun would work well with the color of the masonry. and i could possible make it shine from the side, leaving some room for the torchlight specks i like so much :P
